Provincial have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-2 record behind leader San Isidro. Loser Villa Mitre keeps the twelfth position with five games lost. Provincial will meet Dep Viedma (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Villa Mitre will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 23 Barrio Parque beat Suardi on the road 84-71. Pico FC won against El Talar on its own court 64-51.

It was an exceptional evening for point guard Gaston Bertona (176-2001) who led the winners and scored 28 points. Francisco Bonja accounted for 7 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Barrio Parque's coach Cristian Colli used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. came up with 17 points and Uruguayan center Matias Acosta (200-1999) added 7 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Suardi in the defeat. Four Suardi players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Barrio Parque. They moved-up to fifth place. Suardi lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
