Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Independ.O. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Independ.O. defeated 19th ranked Argentino in Olivia 89-81. Independ.O. outrebounded Argentino 45-30 including 35 on the defensive glass. Independ.O. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for the former international center Agustin Caffaro (211-1995) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international guard Francisco Conrradi (191-2003) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American Dylan Smith (196-1997, college: Arizona) answered with 22 points for Argentino. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Independ.O. (13-5) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Argentino at the other side stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. Argentino will play next round against Atenas trying to get back on the winning streak. Independ.O. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Important game to mention about took place in Santiado del Estero. Sixth ranked Regatas (12-7) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 9th ranked Quimsa (10-9) 70-69 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Tayavek Gallizzi (206-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Claudio Ramirez helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American Brandon Robinson (196-1989, college: Clayton St.) with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Quimsa's coach Leandro Ramella rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Regatas moved-up to third place, which they share with Obera. Quimsa at the other side dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Quimsa will play at home against San Martin (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

The victory was the third consecutive win for Olimpico. They moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Regatas dropped to the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Obera. Olimpico will meet at home San Martin (#14) in the next round. Regatas will have a break next round.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 27: Penarol beat Racing Ch. on the road 91-85. San Lorenzo destroyed Ferro on its own court 96-69. Atenas was outscored by Union in Santa Fe 99-76. Obera managed to beat Racing Ch. at home 78-73.
The most impressive performance of 27th round was 20 points and 11 rebounds by Daviyon Draper of Obera.



Racing Ch. - Penarol 85-91

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Penarol (10-8) beat 17th ranked Racing Ch. (6-14) in Chivilcoy 91-85 on Wednesday. Penarol made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Facundo Vazquez (185-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Agustin Perez (192-1999) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Penarol's coach Leonardo Costa used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Thomas Cooper (196-1992, college: Calgary) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Nicolas Romano (200-1987) added 22 points respectively for Racing Ch. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Penarol maintains ninth place with 10-8 record. Newly promoted Racing Ch. keeps the seventeenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Atenas. Penarol will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Racing Ch. will play against the league's second-placed La Union (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.

There was an upset when higher ranked Ferro (11-5) was smashed by eighteenth ranked San Lorenzo (6-11) in Almagro 96-69 on Thursday. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Lucas Perez (184-1987) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Cristian Cardo (198-1999) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Four San Lorenzo players scored in double figures. Jose Defelippo (186-1997) came up with 14 points and point guard Jano Martinez (180-2003) added 4 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Ferro in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San Lorenzo moved-up to sixteenth place. Rather predictable result when thirteenth ranked Union (9-9) rolled over 17th ranked Atenas (6-14) in Santa Fe 99-76 on Friday. Union made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Chris Vogt (213-1999, college: Wisconsin, agency: Haylett Sports) who led the winners and scored 9 points and 14 rebounds. Daniel Hure (200-1985) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Union SF's coach Maximiliano Seigorman felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
