The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Thirteenth-ranked Suardi (6-9) was very close to win a game against second ranked Amancay (11-6) in La Rioja on Sunday. Amancay managed to secure only three-point victory 64-61. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a good game for guard Mauro Araujo (185-1994) who led his team to a victory with 16 points. Diego Peralta (195-1994) contributed with 9 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Santiago Calderon (190) replied with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for Suardi. Suardi's coach Andres Poi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Amancay have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-6 record having just two point less than leader Provincial. Suardi at the other side dropped to the fourteenth place with nine games lost. Amancay will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Suardi will play at home against Independiente (#7) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Important game to mention about took place in Cordoba. Third ranked San Isidro (10-3) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Barrio Parque (9-5) 75-73 in the game for the third place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Barrio Parque. American Chris Hooper (198-1991, college: SFC) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Manuel Lambrisca chipped in 15 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Gaston Bertona (176-2001) with 22 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. San Isidro have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 10-3 record behind leader Provincial, which they share with GELP. Barrio Parque at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with Salta Basket and Pico FC. San Isidro will play against Hindu (#15) in Cordoba in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Barrio Parque will play on the road against Rivadavia (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
La Liga Argentina top team - Provincial (13-3) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Dep Viedma (6-8) in Rosario 99-81. Matias Acosta notched 30 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by Keiver Marcano did not help to save the game for Dep Viedma. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Provincial maintains first position with 13-3 record. Dep Viedma lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with Caroya. Provincial will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
