Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Instituto as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Instituto smashed 16th ranked Argentino in Cordoba 78-53. Instituto forced 19 Argentino turnovers. The best player for the winners was Bautista Corsi who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Luca Salvetti (, agency: BIG) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Nicolas Schettino produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Argentino lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Atenas. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Important game to mention about took place in Mar del Plata. Fourteenth ranked Penarol (7-12) saved a 1-point victory at home edging higher ranked Gimnasia CR (9-11) 71-70 on Wednesday evening. Point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) saved the victory by scoring 23 points. Martin Chapero contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Natalio Santacroce replied with 25 points for Gimnasia. Penarol maintains fourteenth position with 7-12 record. Gimnasia lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Racing Ch.. Penarol will play against higher ranked Obras (#4) in Buenos Aires in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Gimnasia will play at home against Independ.O. (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Santa Fe, where higher ranked San Lorenzo (9-9) lost to thirteenth ranked Union (7-11) in a road game 65-80 on Monday. Agustin Ferrari scored 24 points to lead the charge for the winners. Union's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Joaquin Actis responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Union maintains thirteenth position with 7-11 record. San Lorenzo lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Lorenzo will play against the league's second-placed La Union (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
