The most important game in the last round took place in Comodoro Rivadavia between third ranked Obras (15-9) and ninth ranked Gimnasia (14-11) on Sunday night. Obras was edged by Gimnasia in a tough game on the road 86-88. Gimnasia made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Gimnasia outrebounded Obras 45-33 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Martiniano Dato (188-2004) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and Venezuelan forward Anyelo Cisneros (200-1997) chipped in 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest.
