There was a small surprise in Florida where fifteenth rankedPlatense (10-12) defeated 12th ranked Olimpico (11-15) 82-68 on Saturday. American forward Derrick Woods (203-1996, college: St.Peter's, agency: SLN) fired 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international Eric Flor (190-1993) chipped in 16 points. Five Platense players scored in double figures. International center Gonzalo Bressan (205-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and guard Franco Vieta (194-1992) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Platense moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Boca Juniors. Loser Olimpico keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost.
