Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Buenos Aires: Obras (#4) and Ferro (#3). Obras (8-2) won against visiting Ferro (9-4) 71-56. Obras dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Ferro's 20. They outrebounded Ferro 45-34 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Ferro helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international power forward Agostina Burani (186-1991) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Florencia Chagas (180-2001) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Giuliana Baccarelli (165-2004) with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Obras maintains fourth position with 8-2 record. Defending champion Ferro dropped to the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Hindu. Obras are looking forward to face Union Florida (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Ferro will play against El Talar (#6) in Caba and is hoping to win this game.

Undefeated Chanares have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-0 record. Loser Instituto dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. They share the position with El Talar. Chanares will meet at home bottom-ranked Riachuelo (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Instituto will play against San Jose (#14) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 18: El Talar lost to Ferro on the opponent's court 73-77. Winless Riachuelo unfortunately lost to Gorriones in a home game 61-64. Gorriones rolled over San Jose on the road 74-53. Rocamora was defeated by Independiente on its own court 68-81. Instituto beat Quimsa in Cordoba 70-59. Avellaneda destroyed Bochas at home 93-55. Berazategui managed to outperform Lanus on the opponent's court 58-49. Quimsa recorded a loss to Hindu in a home game 61-71.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 16 points and 15 rebounds by Malvina DAgostino of Hindu.

Ferro - El Talar 77-73

Rather expected game in Buenos Aires where 5th ranked El Talar (7-5) was defeated by third ranked Ferro (9-4) 77-73 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was the former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Center Julia Fernandez (185-2004) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Ferro players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Luna Cao added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Hindu.
