The most exciting game of round 21 in the LaLiga Femenina took place in Buenos Aires. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked Berazategui (8-4) to sixth ranked El Talar (9-5) 67-65 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Berazategui. The former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Luna Cao chipped in 11 points and 16 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-2001) with 16 points and 7 rebounds. El Talar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ferro. Berazategui at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
LaLiga Femenina top team - Chanares (15-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Gorriones (6-7) in James Craik 99-66. Forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Macarena Galindez accounted for 16 points and 12 rebounds. Lucia Pispieiro came up with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Gorriones in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Chanares have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-0 record. Gorriones lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with seven games lost. Chanares will play against Quimsa (#11) in Santiado del Estero in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gorriones will play at home against Hindu and hopes to get back on the winning track.
LaLiga Femenina top team - Chanares (15-0) managed to deliver another win on Monday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Quimsa (7-7) in James Craik 70-57. The best player for the winners was Regina Carosio who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Lorena Campos who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifteenth consecutive win for Chanares. They maintain first place with 15-0 record. Loser Quimsa keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. Chanares will again meet Quimsa (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Quimsa will play against Avellaneda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 21: Lanus lost to Independiente on the opponent's court 65-69. Bigua unfortunately lost to Obras in a home game 69-76. Gorriones recorded a loss to Avellaneda on the road 51-64. San Jose crushed Bochas on its own court 75-52.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Carolina Fernandez of San Jose.

Independiente - Lanus 69-65

Very expected game in Neuquen where 16th ranked Lanus (3-11) was defeated by tenth ranked Independiente (8-7) 69-65 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was Martina Torres (180-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Berenice Lopez (168-1999) who recorded 22 points and 5 steals and Olivia Oltmann added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Independiente moved-up to seventh place. Loser Lanus keeps the sixteenth position with 11 games lost. Independiente will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lanus will play against Ferro (#5) in Buenos Aires and hope to secure a win.

The best player for the winners was international Candela Gentinetta (181-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Candela Foresto (163-1999) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Obras players scored in double figures. Obras' coach Javier Ielmini used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Maria Jourdheuil (180-1994) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Obras. They maintain second place with 11-2 record having six points less than leader Chanares. Bigua lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Obras will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
