Regular Season Round 21: Independiente - Lanus 69-65
Date: February 28, 2026
Very expected game in Neuquen where 16th rankedLanus (3-11) was defeated by tenth ranked Independiente (8-7) 69-65 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was Martina Torres (180-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Berenice Lopez (168-1999) who recorded 22 points and 5 steals and Olivia Oltmann added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Independiente moved-up to seventh place. Loser Lanus keeps the sixteenth position with 11 games lost. Independiente will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lanus will play against Ferro (#5) in Buenos Aires and hope to secure a win.
