The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 9 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 38 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Regatas (23-6). They were defeated by second ranked Instituto (23-5) 80-76 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Regatas. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Instituto dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Regatas' 28. Lucas Andersson scored 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Colombian forward Jerson Caicedo (204-2004) chipped in 17 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Power forward Ignacio Ortega (205-2004) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Instituto have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Regatas at the other side dropped to the second place with six games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Instituto. Eighteenth-ranked Boca Jrs (7-19) gave a tough game to thirteenth ranked Penarol (12-17) in Buenos Aires. The visitors from Mar del Plata managed to secure only one-point victory 49-48. However their fans expected much easier game. Point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) notched 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Joaquin Bulchi supported him with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Even 8 points and 13 rebounds by Venezuelan guard Gabriel Miquilareno (189-2008) did not help to save the game for Boca Jrs.. Boca Jrs' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Penarol have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Quimsa and Gimnasia. Boca Jrs. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 19 games lost. Penarol will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boca Jrs. will play at home against Atenas (#15) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
