Joaquin Rios claims Argentinian La Liga Argentina Hoops Agents weekly honour

Experienced Joaquin Rios (193-SG-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Quilmes Mar del Plata and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 56.
The 30-year old shooting guard had a double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out U.Mar del Plata (#12, 11-21) 88-85. Quilmes is placed at 4th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Quilmes will need more victories to improve their 19-11 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Rios as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Salta Basket needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Conferencia Norte. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 14 lost games. Alvarez has a very solid season. In 32 games in Argentina he scored 14.4ppg. He also has 7.2rpg and a FGP of 62.2%.
