Emanuel Rodriguez claims Argentinian LDD Hoops Agents weekly honour

Emanuel Rodriguez put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for La Union Formosa and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 43.
The had the game-high 17 points adding six rebounds for La Union in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Olimpico (#19, 4-28) with 28-point margin 92-64. La Union maintains the 4th position in Argentinian LDD. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. La Union will need more victories to improve their 25-8 record. It's Rodriguez's second year at La Union and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Rodriguez has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 7.6ppg) and averages solid 60.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Tobias Tamagusuku of Ferrocarril Oeste Buenos Aires. Tamagusuku impressed basketball fans with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course he led Ferro to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Argentino (#17, 9-23) 84-59. Ferro's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 21-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Tamagusuku is a newcomer at Ferro and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was German Misetich (196-F-2005) of Atenas Cordoba (#15). Misetich scored 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Misetich's great performance the Atenas lost 85-90 to the higher-ranked Platense (#5, 21-11). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Atenas not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 21 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Misetich could try to bring Atenas' a little bit higher in the standings. Misetich has a very solid season. In 25 games in Argentina he scored 14.6ppg. He also has 5.8rpg and a FGP of 61.7%.
