The Regular Season in LDB is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in Olivia was quite interesting. Fifth ranked Platense (22-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Independ.O. (17-15). Platense managed to secure a 7-point victory 95-88 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was Joaquin Goncalves who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Giovanni Pappalardi chipped in 15 points and 17 rebounds. Geronimo Tolosa (193) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Independ.O.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Platense maintains fifth position with 22-11 record. Independ.O. at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 15 games lost. Platense will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Independ.O. will play at home against Atenas (#15) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Santiago del Estero, where higher ranked La Union (25-9) lost to eleventh ranked Quimsa (14-18) in a road game 72-77. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of La Union. Paraguayan forward Sebastian Bogado (206-2007) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Romeo Amprimo contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Quimsa's coach Mariano Marcos allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Augusto Moresco replied with 24 points and 9 rebounds for La Union. Quimsa maintains eleventh position with 14-18 record. La Union at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Buenos Aires. Local Ferro (21-12) was outscored by seventh ranked Obera (17-16) 88-66 on Wednesday night. Worth to mention a quality performance of Edwin Niebles who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 20 rebounds. Juan Clavell responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Ferro's coach Juan Di Gilio gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Obera have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Obera went down to eighth position due to points difference, which they share with Racing Ch. Loser Ferro keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. Obera will meet Argentino (#17) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ferro's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena Boca Jrs..
