It was a good game for Cuban swingman Marcos Chacon (194-2003) who led his team to a victory with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Carlos Rivero (208-2003) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international Leonardo Lema (204-1998) answered with 9 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Sam Freeman (208-2001, college: CSUSB, agency: Haylett Sports) added 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Quimsa. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
