Movistar Estudiantes Madrid (Primera FEB) has agreed terms with 31-year old American forward Travis Munnings for the new 2026-27 season. Munnings, who also holds a Bahamas passport, played last season at Obradoiro in Spain. In 16 Primera FEB games, he averaged 6.2ppg, 3.1rpg, and 1.4apg, helping his team win the regular season. Munnings is the second foreign player in the roster, joining Argentinian Fernando Zurbriggen who signed earlier. Prior to Obradoiro, Munnings played for Coviran Granada in Liga Endesa.
Munnings represented Bahamas at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Valencia (Spain) two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 7.3 points per game and had 4.8 rebounds per game.
He is quite an experienced player. Munnings has also played professionally in France (Pau Lacq Orthez, La Rochelle, and Boulazac Basket), Portugal (Benfica and Oliveirense), and the NBA Summer League (GS Warriors).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB Honorable Mention in 2025.
He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2019, and this will be his eighth season as a professional player.
