Cherno More adds Knowles to their roster

Cherno More Ticha Varna (NBL) added experienced 34-year old Bahamas international center Zane Knowles (208cm-116kg-1992, college: TAMUCC, agency: BIG) to their roster for the 2026-27 season. He played last season at NTD BH Baku in the Azerbaijani ABL league, where he averaged 5.0ppg and 5.7rpg in 7 games. In the previous (2024-25) season, he played at Cedi Osman Basketbol Spor Kulubu Istanbul (TBL) in the Turkish league.
In 2017, three years after graduating, he was drafted by the Wisconsin Herd (G-League) in the third round (68th overall).
He graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2014 and this will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. He has been regularly called to the Bahamas Senior National Team since 2018.
Knowles is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in nine different countries across three continents. He has played in Azerbaijan, France, Greece, Hungary, Japan, Kosovo, Poland, Turkey, and Bulgaria during his career.
Knowles' team won the Bulgarian Cup in 2020. He played for other colleges such as Pearl River Community College and Grambling State University.
