Mexico demolish Bahamas in San Salvador at the second day of U17 Centrobasket. Mexico reached 2-0 record in Group B after a 115:30 victory. Bahamas meanwhile fell at 0-2 record.
Mexico was the favorite of the game and started well from the very beginning. They won the first period 23-12 and added 31-4 surge in the second frame. Moreover Mexico exploded in the second half. They rolled over the opponents with a 23-8 burst in the third period and finished the game with a 38-6 surge.
Monica Diaz (96) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and Narda Lopez (96) netted 16. Paulina Rodriguez (174-SG-98) delivered 14, whilst Daniela Rodriguez (97) and Oleida Ortiz (97) poured in 10 each. Lashae Rolle and Valerie Nesbitt produced 9 points each in the losing case. Serena Brown netted 4 and Isis Wilson scored 3.
