Devontae Gibson put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best High Flyers and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 7.
The had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds for High Flyers in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team BIBT Great W. (#6, 0-5) with 34-point margin 94-60. High Flyers maintains the 2nd position in their group in Bahamas NPBA. They are still close to the very top. High Flyers would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. Gibson turned to be High Flyers' top player in his first season with the team. Devontae Gibson averages this season 13.8ppg and 6.2rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Chauncey Cooper of Abaco Strong. Cooper impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Abaco Strong lost that game 92-97 to slightly higher-ranked High Flyers (#2, 4-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in John Archer Division. Abaco Strong still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 2-2 record is not bad at all. Cooper is a newcomer at Abaco Strong and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 13.8rpg and 3.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Abaco Strong's star - Tevin Hudson. Hudson showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, ten rebounds and five assists in the last round. Despite Hudson's great performance Abaco Strong lost 92-97 to #2 ranked High Flyers. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Abaco Strong needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in John Archer Division. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Hudson has a great season in Bahamas. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (7th best) and assists with 5.5apg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. William Rigby) of Shockers - 29 points and 7 rebounds
