Dean's double-double lands him Interperformances Player of the Week award

Forward Salathiel Dean (F) had a great game in the last round for Uptown Cuts and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had a double-double of 17 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat BIBT Great W. (#6, 0-10), the league's bottom-ranked team 99-87. Uptown Cuts is placed at 4th position in Bahamas league. Uptown Cuts is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-7 record. In the team's last game Dean had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Uptown Cuts' top player in his first season with the team. Dean has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 11.5rpg), assists (7th best: 4.7apg) and averages solid 3.3bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Colton Albury. He is a in his first season at Uptown Cuts. In the last game Albury recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Uptown Cuts cruised to a 101-93 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Abaco Strong (#5, 3-6). This victory allowed Uptown Cuts to move up to 4th position in John Archer Division. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-7 record. Albury is a newcomer at Uptown Cuts and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#8). He also registered 10.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Uptown Cuts' star - forward Adorn Charlow (196-F). Charlow scored 26 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Uptown Cuts, helping his team with a 101-93 win against slightly lower-ranked Abaco Strong (#5, 3-6). Charlow has individually a great season in Bahamas. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.6rpg (3rd best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
