Bahamas NPBA round 16 best performance: William Rigby

William Rigby had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Shockers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
The player was the main contributor (22 points, nine rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Rebels (#4, 2-8) with 39-point margin 114-75. Shockers maintains the 2nd position in their group in Bahamas NPBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shockers will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Rigby had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Shockers, through which he has constantly improved. William Rigby has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 16.7ppg) and averages impressive 3.3spg and 51.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Arlington Brown of Tucker Boys. Brown had a very good evening with a double-double of 15 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led Tucker Boys to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Zulu MM (#5, 0-10) 100-67. Tucker Boys' 5th position in Vince Ferguson Division has not changed. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Tucker Boys managed to get this year. Brown is a newcomer at Tucker Boys and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Stephan Burrows (186-G-1992) of Zulu MM (#5). Burrows scored 23 points. Despite Burrows' great performance Zulu MM lost 67-100 to slightly higher-ranked Tucker Boys (#5, 2-8). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Zulu MM can only dream about fighting for top spots in Vince Ferguson Division. They have awful season losing so far all 10 games. Burrows has a very solid season. In 5 games in Bahamas he scored 13.8ppg. Burrows attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
