Abel Joseph
William Rigby put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Shockers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had a double-double of 33 points and 10 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Regulators (#3, 6-5) 88-99. Shockers maintains the 2nd position in their group in Bahamas league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shockers will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 8-5 record. In the team's last game Rigby had a remarkable 68.4% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Shockers, through which he has constantly improved. Rigby has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 17.6ppg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 54.0% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Kemsey Sylvestre of Regulators. He is a in his first season at Regulators. In the last game Sylvestre recorded impressive 21 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course Regulators cruised to a 99-88 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Shockers (#2, 8-5). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in John Archer Division. Regulators consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 6-5 record is not bad at all. Sylvestre is a newcomer at Regulators and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.1ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 8.9rpg and 4.7apg.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Abel Joseph (200-G-1990) of league's leader Rockets. Joseph showcased his all-around game by recording 9 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and sixteen assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Rockets, leading his team to a 109-81 easy win against #4 ranked Rebels. Rockets have amazing season winning all 13 games without a single defeat in John Archer Division. Joseph turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Joseph has a great season in Bahamas. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 7.9apg (best passer).
