The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Regulators (2-1) in Nassau on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Giants (3-0) 118-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Regulators. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Giants dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Regulators' 20. They outrebounded Regulators 58-32 including a 23-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Giants looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Regulators' players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Dylan Musgrove (190, college: Southeastern) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international Michael Bain (185-1985) contributed with 18 points and 9 assists for the winners. Cleo Sears replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds for Regulators. Regulators' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Giants have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record. Regulators at the other side keep the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Rockets and Bahamas Univ.. Shockers were smashed at home by 18 points 78-96 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Worth to mention a great performance of Roosevelt Whylly who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and Kemsey Sylvestre who added 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side William Rigby responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Sand Dollar's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 15 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists by Toureque Cartwright did not help to save the game for Island DR. Sand Dollar keeps a position of league leader, which they share with TMT Giants. Island DR lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with four games lost.
