Harrison's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

Britenique Harrison

31-year old center Britenique Harrison (193-C-1992) had a very impressive game in the last round for Send Dollar Lady Flyers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
She had a double-double of 31 points and 24 rebounds, while her team lost the game against Sparks (#5, 3-9) 60-65. Flyers maintains the 4th position in Bahamas NPWBA. Flyers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 6th lost game this season out of 12 games. Harrison just recently signed at Flyers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Benedict College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Harrison is in league's top in points (5th best: 15.2ppg) and averages solid 2.5bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Johndell Minus of league's second-best Foxxy Defenders. She is a in her first season at Defenders. In the last game Minus recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds. Of course she led Defenders to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Sparks (#5, 3-9) 79-41. This victory allowed Defenders to move up to second position in the standings. Her team's 7-5 record is not bad at all. Minus is one of the most experienced players at Defenders and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Vincinique Dames of The Lady Sparks (#5). Dames got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. She went also for ten rebounds . Despite Dames' great performance the Sparks lost 62-78 to Eagles (3-9). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Sparks can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 3-9 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Dames has individually a great season in Bahamas. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (4th best) and assists with 2.0apg (9th best).
