Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) landed 26-year old Bahamas international 7-0 center DeAndre Ayton (college: Arizona) for new season. He has played for the last two years at Portland Trail Blazers. In 40 NBA games Last season he averaged 14.4ppg, 10.2rpg and 1.6apg last season.
In 2018 Phoenix Suns voted him as first overall pick in NBA draft. The former University of Arizona star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
He also represented Bahamas at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Valencia (Spain) last year. During this event he scored an average of 19.5 points per game and had 11.8 rebounds per game.
