Kai Jones agreed terms with Anadolu Efes

Kai Jones

Anadolu Efes Istanbul (BSL) added 24-year-old Bahamas international 211cm power forward Kai Jones (college: Texas) to their roster for the upcoming season. He most recently played for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA, where he averaged 11.4ppg, 6.6rpg, and 1.3apg in 12 games last season. Jones also had stints with Clippers/39">the Clippers in the NBA and the Clippers in the NBA G League.
In 2021, he was drafted by the New York Knicks (NBA) in the first round (19th overall). Jones attended the University of Texas, and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
He has been a member of the Bahamas international program for some years. Jones has been regularly called to the Bahamas senior team since 2022 and previously for the Under 16 National Team back in 2017.
He is a very experienced player. Jones has played professionally in other USA teams, Spain (Alicante), NBA (Charlotte Hornets), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats and Greensboro Swarm) and NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets).
Among many awards, his college team won the Big 12 Tournament in 2021. He was also voted to the All-Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year in 2021.
