Bahamas GBBA round 5 best performance: Ahmad Pratt

International Power forward Ahmad Pratt (203-PF-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Pizza Hut Lions, receiving a Hoops Agents GBBA Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 37 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed Celebration KS (#6, 2-2) with 21-point margin 95-74. Pizza Hut L. is placed at 3rd position in Bahamas GBBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Pizza Hut L. will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Pratt had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It's his second year at Pizza Hut L. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former Southwestern College, KS star has very solid stats this year. Pratt is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.3ppg. Pratt is in league's top in and averages impressive 71.4% FGP and 41.2% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was Javanno Martin (F ) of Lil Boat. Martin had a very good evening with a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Lil Boat to edge slightly lower-ranked Pelican BF (#10, 1-4) 69-66. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Lil Boat left the very bottom place moving slightly to 9th position. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Lil Boat managed to get this year. Martin is a newcomer at Lil Boat, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#3). He also registered 4.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Pizza Hut L.'s star - center Tarez Hepburn (191-C). Hepburn scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Pizza Hut Lions, helping his team with a 95-74 easy win against the lower-ranked Celebration KS (#6, 2-2). Pizza Hut L. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Hepburn has a great season in Bahamas. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.3rpg (7th best).
