International Guard Jackson Jacob (186-G-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Commonwealth Bank Giants, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 35-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, four rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Rockets (#4, 4-2) 100-90. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Giants to take over top position in the Bahamas NPBA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Giants keeps a perfect 7-0 record. In the team's last game Jacob had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Giants, through which he has constantly improved. Former Northern Alberta Institute of Technology star has very solid stats this year. Jacob is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.0ppg), assists (5th best: 4.3apg) and averages impressive 54.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international Kadeem Coleby (206-C/F-1989, agency: Sport Avenir) of Caribbean Moonshine Rockets. Coleby had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Rockets lost that game 90-100 to league's leader Giants (#1, 7-0). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Rockets still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 4-2 record is not bad at all. Coleby is one of the most experienced players at Rockets and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former Wichita State University star Coleby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Rockets' star - international guard Abel Joseph (200-G-1990). Joseph showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. Despite Joseph's great performance the Caribbean Moonshine Rockets lost 90-100 to #1 ranked Giants. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Rockets needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Joseph has a great season in Bahamas. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.8ppg (9th best), rebounds with 9.8rpg (9th best) and assists with 7.4apg (best passer).
