Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Giants (7-1) in Nassau on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by High Flyers (9-0) 89-88. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Giants. High Flyers forced 23 Giants turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Davito McIntosh (183, college: Grays Harbor) who scored 23 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Qyemah Gibson (196-1997, college: St.Mary's) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Jackson Jacob (186-1990, college: NAIT) who recorded 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Undefeated High Flyers have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Giants at the other side keep the second position with one game lost.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Nassau: TMT Giants (#6) and Shockers (#8). TMT Giants (5-5) won against visiting Shockers (3-8) 83-77. It was a good game for Rashad Sturrup who led his team to a victory with 9 points and 21 rebounds. Christopher Johnson contributed with 5 points and 25 rebounds for the winners. Guard Spurgeon Johnson answered with 24 points and 6 assists for Shockers. Shockers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for TMT Giants. They moved-up to fourth place. Shockers lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with eight games lost.
Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Nassau: Rockets (#3) and Zulu MM (#6). Zulu MM was crushed at home by 19 points 68-87 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Roosevelt Whylly stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. The best for the losing side was Bertrum Minns with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rockets. They maintain third place with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader High Flyers. Loser Zulu MM keeps the sixth position with three games lost.

Other games of round 9 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Millionaires defeated Rebels in a road game 68-55. Millionaires were smashed by Rockets at home 55-78. Tucker Boys destroyed Millionaires on the opponent's court 78-58.
The best stats of 9th round was 23 points and 9 rebounds by Dylan Musgrove of Giants.



Rebels - Millionaires 55-68

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Rebels (4-6) were defeated at home by fourth ranked Millionaires (5-6) 68-55 on Monday. Millionaires had a 41-29 advantage in offensive rebounds. Swingman Xavier Johnson (190, college: Mt.Aloysius) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and Christorr Storr chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Millionaires' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Levanti Roberts with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Wilben Seraphin scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Despite that victory Millionaires went down to fifth position due to points difference. Rebels lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh place with six games lost.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with third ranked Rockets' (7-2) road victory over 4th placed Millionaires (5-6) 78-55 on Wednesday. Rockets outrebounded Millionaires 48-32 including a 41-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rockets looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Roosevelt Whylly stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-1989, college: Wichita St., agency: Sport Avenir) chipped in 11 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks. Coleby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Christorr Storr with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Rumalo Ellis scored 4 points and 9 assists. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rockets. They maintain third place with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader High Flyers. Newly promoted Millionaires dropped to the fifth position with six games lost.

Lorenzo Rolle stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and center Randy Miller chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Tucker Boys players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Christorr Storr with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Sirmar Rolle scored 6 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tucker Boys maintains ninth place with 2-7 record. Newly promoted Millionaires dropped to the fifth position with six games lost.
