Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Nassau:Rockets (#3) and Zulu MM (#6). Zulu MM was crushed at home by 19 points 68-87 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Rockets outrebounded Zulu MM 61-37 including a 42-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rockets looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Roosevelt Whylly stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and the former international power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-1989, college: Wichita St., agency: Sport Avenir) chipped in 15 points, 18 rebounds and 8 assists. Coleby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Rockets players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Bertrum Minns with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Kenrico Rolle scored 6 points and 14 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rockets . They maintain third place with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader High Flyers. Loser Zulu MM keeps the sixth position with three games lost.
