Rus-Shon Strachan claims Bahamas NPBA weekly honour

Rus-Shon Strachan put on an amazing game in the last round for Zulu Media Marketing and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The had the game-high 33 points adding seven rebounds for Zulu MM in his team's victory, helping them to edge out High Flyers (#1, 10-1) 93-92. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Zulu MM is placed at 4th position in Bahamas NPBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Zulu MM will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. In the team's last game Strachan had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Zulu MM, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Rus-Shon Strachan averages this season 13.5ppg and 9.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Roosevelt Whylly of Caribbean Moonshine Rockets. Whylly impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led Rockets to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Millionaires (#5, 6-7) 98-63. Rockets' 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 8-3 record is not bad at all. Whylly is one of the most experienced players at Rockets and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.4ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 13.0rpg and 3.9apg.

The third best performed player last round was Adrian Thompson (193-F) of second-ranked Commonwealth Bank Giants. Thompson scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Giants, leading his team to a 90-52 easy win against the lower-ranked TMT Giants (#6, 5-9). Many experts and fans count Giants as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. Thompson has a very solid season. In 3 games in Bahamas he scored 9.3ppg.

10. Abel Joseph (200-G-1990) of Rockets - 12 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists
