Dylan Musgrove claims Bahamas NPBA weekly honour

International Swingman Dylan Musgrove (190-G/F) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Commonwealth Bank Giants and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
The swingman had the game-high 21 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Giants in his team's victory, helping them to edge out High Flyers (#2, 13-2) 78-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Giants to jump to the first place in the Bahamas NPBA. Giants has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 14-1. In the team's last game Musgrove had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Giants, through which he has constantly improved. Southeastern Community College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Musgrove is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.9ppg. Musgrove is in league's top in assists (9th best: 3.5apg) and averages solid 2.7spg and 67.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Cruz Simon of Zulu Media Marketing. Simon impressed basketball fans with 32 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he led Zulu MM to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Titans (#9, 4-12) 86-56. Zulu MM's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-5 record is not bad at all. Simon is one of the most experienced players at Zulu MM and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Kemsey Sylvestre (C) of second-ranked Western Air High Flyers. Sylvestre showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Sylvestre's great performance the High Flyers lost 76-78 to #1 ranked Giants. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. High Flyers had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 2nd lost game is hopefully really an accident. Sylvestre's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Sylvestre has a very solid season. In 14 games in Bahamas he scored 9.9ppg. He also has 6.7rpg and a FGP of 50.5%.
