NPBA Round 1 of Semi-Finals. Rockets and Giants post wins

Rockets - High Flyers 94-89

Rockets forced 19 High Flyers turnovers and outrebounded them 58-45 including 24 on the offensive glass. Rockets looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Livingston Munnings (201-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Abel Joseph (200-1990, college: Holland) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Rockets players scored in double figures. Center Kemsey Sylvestre answered with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Qyemah Gibson (196-1997, college: St.Mary's) added 14 points in the effort for High Flyers. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Giants - Zulu MM 86-79

Giants outrebounded Zulu MM 56-44 including 22 on the offensive glass. Forward Adrian Thompson (193) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and the former international swingman Dylan Musgrove (190, college: Southeastern) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side Bertrum Minns responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Cruz Simon scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Zulu MM players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
