Bulls forced 25 Spartans turnovers and outrebounded them 62-43 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Spartans' players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Manuel Alleng who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists and Simeon Maynard who added 25 points, 9 assists and 6 steals during the contest. At the losing side Kadian Brathwaite responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Bulls maintains fourth position with 2-2 record. Spartans at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Bulls are looking forward to face Warrens (#5) in the next round. The winners were led by guard Derion Hurley who scored that evening 28 points and 6 rebounds and Deroni Hurley supported him with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds by American swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) did not help to save the game for Tridents. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pinelands have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion (4-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Cavaliers. Tridents lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with three games lost.
