The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bridgetown: Celtics (#2) and Tridents (#8). Tridents were smashed at home by 42 points 50-92 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Celtics dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tridents' 32. Celtics forced 27 Tridents turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Tridents' players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Kiserian Adams (193-2000, college: Baton Rouge) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and the former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals during the contest. At the losing side forward Ari Mottley-Squires responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Tridents' coach C. Edwards gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Celtics have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bulls. Tridents at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Celtics' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bridgetown to the arena Heat.
