The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Celtics (13-1) in Bridgetown on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Cavaliers (11-3) 94-91. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Celtics. Cavaliers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Celtics' 26. They outrebounded Celtics 58-40 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Celtics helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for swingman Deveron Knight (190-2000) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Stephan Ottley (-1993) contributed with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Joel Hunte replied with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks for Celtics. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Cavaliers maintains third position with 11-3 record having just two points less than leader Celtics. Heat was smashed at home by 111 points 37-148 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Simeon Maynard (173-2004) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 12 assists and Andrew Ifill who added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists during the contest. Bulls' coach K. Phillips felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Raheem Catwell with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Bulls have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 12-2 record behind leader Celtics. Heat lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost.

Loser Pinelands keep the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Warrens.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 12: bottom-ranked Tridents were beaten by Lakers on the road 89-77. Pinelands lost to Celtics on its own court 95-105. Heat unfortunately lost to Warrens in a road game 70-77. Bulls rolled over Cavaliers at home 100-75. Bulls defeated Lakers on the opponent's court 95-82.
