NBB top team - Flamengo (13-2) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Mogi (5-6) in Rio de Janeiro 87-56. Flamengo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Mogi's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international forward Leonardo Demetrio (209-94) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Rafael Hettsheimeir (210-86) who added 21 points during the contest. Wesley Alves (198-96) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Wesley Ferreira (200-95) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Mogi players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Flamengo have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-2 record. Loser Mogi dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Flamengo will have a break next round. Mogi will play against Caxias do Sul (#15) and hope to win that game.
