Leader Minas delivered the fifteenth victory on Thursday night. This time they crushed 16th ranked Brasilia (2-15) 99-75. Minas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Brasilia's 26 and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Minas looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Brasilia's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international center Joao Paulo Batista (206-81, college: Gonzaga) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and international center Ronald Reis (211-91) who added 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Sammy Yeager (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) with 23 points and the former international Arthur Silva (197-82) scored 17 points. Four Brasilia players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Minas (15-1) have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Brasilia lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost.
