An interesting game was also a 26-point tough home defeat of 3rd ranked Rocamora in a game in Concepcion de Urug. versus Quimsa (#4) 83-57. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Quimsa outrebounded Rocamora 53-38 including 40 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by the former international power forward Celia Fiorotto (186-92) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and center Johanna Puchetti (191-87) supported her with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds by naturalized Uruguayan power forward Sabrina Scevola (178-92) did not help to save the game for Rocamora. Swingman Irina Figueroa (168-98) added 10 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Quimsa have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion (3-1) moved-up to second place, which they share with Berazategui and Obras. Rocamora at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Union Florida and Ferro. Quimsa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rocamora will play against Ferro (#6) in Olavarria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
