Another interesting game for Union Florida (2-2) which played in Moreno against 6th ranked Los Indios (1-3). Seventh ranked Union Florida had an easy win 77-64. Union Florida had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Los Indios was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Carla Miculka (174-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Sol Laviero (172-96) who added 24 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Micaela Gonzalez (167-96) responded with 18 points and the former international point guard Nadia Flores (171-90) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Union Florida moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rocamora and Ferro. Los Indios lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Union Florida will play against higher ranked Berazategui (#4) in Buenos Aires in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Los Indios will play on the road against Espanola (#10) in San Vicente and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
