Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Vivo/Franca (11-11) rolled over 11th ranked Pato Basquete (8-14) in Sao Paulo 109-68 on Thursday. Vivo/Franca dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Pato Basquete's 26 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Pato Basquete 47-33 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Vivo/Franca looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International forward Lucas Silva (208-95) nailed 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Elinho Corazza (192-89, college: Miami Dade CC) accounted for 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Anderson Rodrigues (207-97) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Lucas Lacerda (180-97) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively for Pato Basquete in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vivo/Franca maintains ninth place with 11-11 record. Pato Basquete lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 14 games lost.
