Regular Season Round 2: Puente Alto - Los Leones 90-87

A very close game took place in Puente Alto between Puente Alto and Los Leones. Puente Alto got a very close home victory over Los Leones. Puente Alto managed to escape with a 3-point win 90-87 on Sunday evening. The former international guard Erik Carrasco (181-83) notched 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and Argentinian forward Nicholas Wadell (201-89) supported him with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds by American forward Aaron Nelson (205-91, college: S.Indiana) did not help to save the game for Los Leones. Naturalized Panamanian guard Eugenio Luzcando (187-95, college: Idaho St.) added 15 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists for the guests. Four Los Leones players scored in double figures. Puente Alto will meet Universidad de Concepcion on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Los Leones will play against Universidad Catolica in Santiago and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
