Regular Season Round 12: Sp.America - Ameghino 85-87

A very interesting game took place in Rosario. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked Sp.America (4-4) to fourth ranked Ameghino (5-2) 87-85 on Sunday evening. It was a good game for guard Lautaro Fraga (185-92) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 7 assists. Swingman Jonatan Torresi (190-94) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Ameghino's coach Pablo Castro allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Emilio Stucky (198-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds and swingman Alejandro Madera (193-91) added 25 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sp.America. Four Sp.America players scored in double figures. Ameghino keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Barrio Parque and Dep Viedma. Sp.America at the other side dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. Ameghino's next round opponent will be Colon SF (#13) in Santa Fe which should be an easy win for them. Sp.America will play on the road against Dep Norte (#3) in Armstrong and hope to win that game.
