Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Hebraica and Goes. Hebraica won against visiting Goes 91-80. Hebraica dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Goes' 32. Hebraica forced 19 Goes turnovers. American power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and forward Gaston Semiglia (185-91) accounted for 22 points and 5 assists. Argentinian forward Alexis Elsener (195-88) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and forward Joaquin Osimani (193-87) added 18 points respectively for Goes in the defeat. Four Hebraica and five Goes players scored in double figures. Hebraica's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Defensor.
