Olimpia (2-1) recorded a loss in Montevideo on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Bigua (2-1) 90-82. Bigua looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Donald Sims (190-87, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 45 points (!!!). Point guard Ivan Loriente (190-92, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Skyler Hogan (196-97, college: SEMO) who recorded 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Marvin Phillips (201-83, college: Claflin) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Olimpia players scored in double figures. Olimpia's coach Gerardo Jauri rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
