The game between seventh ranked Aguada (2-2) and 10th ranked Hebraica (1-3) in Montevideo on Monday ended with biggest points difference. Aguada beat guests from Montevideo 114-98. Aguada made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 60.6 percentage. Aguada looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 22 passes made by Hebraica's players. It was a very good performance for American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Italian Leandro Morales (186-80, college: Texas A&M, agency: Pro Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 15 assists for the winners. Aguada's coach Adrian Capelli used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Gaston Semiglia (185-91) replied with 20 points and 8 assists and American power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) added 22 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hebraica. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Defensor and Capitol. Hebraica lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Aguada's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Penarol.
