LUB top team - Olimpia (5-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Trouville (1-5) in Montevideo 89-71. Olimpia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a quality performance for American guard Skyler Hogan (196-97, college: SEMO) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (206-93, college: UW-Parkside) accounted for 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Olimpia players scored in double figures. Italian-Argentinian center Damian Tintorelli (205-81) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Santiago Fernandez (190-0) added 14 points respectively for Trouville in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Olimpia have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-1 record. Loser Trouville keeps the eleventh position with five games lost. Olimpia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Penarol.
