Bottom-ranked Goes is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to eleventh ranked Penarol (2-4) 98-69. Penarol outrebounded Goes 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Goes' players. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (196-87, college: Ole Miss) fired 29 points and 4 assists for the winners. American power forward Jarrid Famous (211-88, college: S.Florida, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Four Penarol players scored in double figures. Argentinian forward Alexis Elsener (195-88, agency: Interperformances) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and Sebastian Sosa (175-1) added 15 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Penarol moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Defensor and Hebraica. Goes at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Penarol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Olimpia.
