Eleventh-ranked Trouville (1-6) gave a tough game to third ranked Urunday (5-2) in Montevideo on Monday. Urunday managed to secure only three-point victory 87-84. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Marcus Elliott (196-84, college: Louisiana Tech) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 assists and the other American import forward Tyrone Lee (206-90, college: GVSU) who added 23 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Italian-Argentinian center Damian Tintorelli (205-81) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and forward Santiago Massa (190-97) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Trouville's coach German Fernandez tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Urunday keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Trouville lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with six games lost.
