Regular Season Round 7: Bucaneros - Diablos 60-70

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Diablos (4-2) won against 6th ranked Bucaneros (2-4) in La Guaira 70-60 on Friday. Quite impressive performance for the former international forward Tulio Cobos (197-86, college: Northeastern St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. International forward Anyelo Cisneros (198-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Emiro Hernandez (188-94) answered with 22 points and the former international forward Eduardo Torres (194-81) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bucaneros. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Diablos moved-up to third place, which they share with Broncos. Loser Bucaneros keep the sixth position with four games lost. Diablos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Caracas to the arena Spartans.
