We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked Condores (1-7) beat bottom-ranked Cangrejeros (0-6) in Margarita 81-73 on Friday. Quite impressive performance for point guard Raul Millan (180-97) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds. Colombian forward Miguel Fernandez (194-92) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international swingman Jorge Rondon (193-90) replied with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Salvador Torres (194-96) added 4 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Cangrejeros. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Condores left bottom position moving up to eighth place. It was Cangrejeros' sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Condores' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Margarita .
